Revolutionizing how we conceive, carry, birth and parent

Our Mission

To ensure that children have the healthiest start in life. This begins by prioritizing the health and well-being of their primary caregivers. By offering resources and support for personal growth and self-healing, we aim to optimize conception, birth, and parenting. Our goal is to create nurturing environments where babies can thrive and lead healthy, happy lives.

Our Vision

To be the go-to Healing Hub that changes the course of humanity through holistic healing, guidance and support throughout the parenthood journey.

Wombvalley Origin Story

The womb embodies creation, nurturing, and the genesis of life. It signifies a place of origin and comfort. When we speak of someone having “returned to the womb,” we mean they have found solace and safety. The womb of Wombvalley represents a cultural paradigm shift from control, disconnect, and external authority to one of nurture and connection within oneself, their child, and their community.

The Valley represents transition, journey, and struggle. It is a place where the land dips, creating a natural depression. Valleys can evoke feelings of both vulnerability due to their lower elevation and opportunity as fertile ground for growth. The phrase “the valley of life” encompasses the highs and lows of our experiences. So together, Womb + Valley is the fertile ground in which we hold space for vulnerability and create the opportunity for growth as we support and heal during the foundational time of our own and our baby’s earliest experiences.

The Visionaries

Wombvalley Co-Founders

Joanne Fisher is a visionary dedicated to healing and preventing trauma from the earliest stages of life. With a profound understanding of our prenatal and perinatal experiences’ significant impact on an individual’s self-worth and well-being, Joanne has been an unwavering advocate for helping mothers to deeply connect within and with their babies.

Joanne is the owner of Conscious Birth & Wellness and the author of Easy Pregnancy, Easy Birth, Easy Baby -Your Guide to a Pain-free Pregnancy, a Blissful Birth and an Exceptional Child.

She began her journey into the realm of holistic health with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan, where she honed her understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and psychology. Partnered with nearly 20 years as a yoga teacher specializing in prenatal yoga and yoga for fertility and over 10 years of experience as a leading BodyTalk practitioner she helps her clients craft a customized path to wellness.

Joanne’s expertise extends to the intricate world of infant sleep, where she applies neuroscience-backed methods to foster responsive care and healthy brain development in babies.

As a doula/independent birthkeeper Joanne focuses on helping both the birthing person and baby prepare for birth. She aids babies in the womb to release any inherited pain, fear, or feelings of unworthiness, and supports parents in releasing their own issues and stress. This fosters a deep sense of nurturing, allowing babies to feel secure, acknowledged, and welcomed into the world thus making birth faster and easier. (and never ‘overdue’!)

Her own *Orgasmic* home birth in 2012 and fast effortless ‘freebirth’ in 2017 further solidified her trust in the power of natural birth and the BodyTalk system’s capacity to promote profound personal growth and optimal birth experiences.

Joanne’s dedication goes beyond the birthing process, as she assists adults and older children in identifying and healing issues that originate from the womb or early childhood. Her holistic, compassionate approach is grounded in the conviction that personal healing can significantly enhance one’s parenting abilities and can break the cycle of intergenerational trauma.

Joanne has an impulsive drive to share all the expert wisdom she learns being a birth nerd and personal growth junkie. She knows that curating Wombvalley’s expert-led courses and connecting parents to the most up to-date information and transformative practices is what she was put on this planet to do.
